A 1964 MC graduate, was a four-year letter winner in football for the Pioneers. A fine quarterback, he set Marietta College record for most touchdown passes in a season with 13 in 1963.

He was selected team captained in his junior year. He was the recipient of the Dutch White Award, which is given to the outstanding freshman football player each year. He was also the Way-Weigelt Award winner at MC, which goes to the outstanding senior male athlete. He was selected honorable mention All-OAC in 1961, 1962, and 1963.

Heaton is now the president of Independent Health Services, P.C. His company is a certified rehabilitation agency, which specializes in sports medicine and physical therapy, located in Plymouth, Mi. Terry is currently living in Northville, Michigan.
