Jeff Faloba, a four-year letterman, was a member of the men’s basketball team from 1974-77. He becomes the third member of Marietta’s 1975 Ohio Athletic Conference championship team to be inducted into the Hall of Fame joining Chuck Robinson ’75 (Class of 1987) and Art Clark ’76 (Class of 1997). A dominating 6-foot-7 center, Faloba was a catalyst on that ‘75 team that advanced to the NCAA tournament. He led the OAC in rebounds averaging 10.5 per game and was second on the team in scoring averaging 13.8 points. Faloba was a four-time all-conference selection earning second team honors in 1975 and honorable mention in each of his other three seasons. His senior season in the Navy Blue and White, Faloba again led the Pioneers with 9.9 boards per contest and was the second-leading scorer averaging 15.5 points. At the time of his graduation, Faloba was the second leading rebounder in program history with 951 and was fourth on the all-time scoring list with 1,367. He currently ranks fourth in rebounds and tenth in scoring.

Faloba, who graduated with a degree in accounting, worked as an accountant with the Bethel Steel Corpoartion for 25 years. He is currently an operation manager for Patriot Water Treatment in New Jersey. Orignally from Salineville, Ohio, Faloba was inducted into the Southern Local Hall of Fame in 2005. Faloba is the proud father of three children, David, Kathryn and Christine.
