Miracle, a member of three All-OAC basketball teams, graduated in 1979. A recognized leader, Mitch was selected as team captain for three seasons. Miracle is the second leading scoring in MC history with 1,558 career points, second only to Hall of Famer Mark “Buzzy” Davis. He holds several Pioneer records including the most field goals made in a career (697) and best free throw percentage in a career (.845) and in a season (.912).
Currently a member of the faculty at Warren Local High School, Miracle is still the all-time leading scorer at his alma mater, River high School. He scored 1,650 career points at River and was twice named as an All-Ohio selection.
Mitch and his wife Mary live in Marietta with their three children Leah, Colleen, and Molly.
