Marietta College Athletics

Under the direction of OAC Coach of the Year Phil Roach, the Pioneers posted a 19-4 overall record and went 11-2 in the OAC winning the regular season championship. Marietta dropped its first two OAC games of the season before bouncing back to win 11 straight league contests and capture the OAC championship.

The 74-75 team became the first in program history to advance into the NCAA Tournament where they defeated Allegheny in the first round 75-67 before falling in the regional championship game to Wittenberg 85-70.
