Lopez-Jordan earned eight varsity letters at Marietta College lettering four times each in indoor and outdoor track. One of the most dominant hurdlers in program history, Lopez-Jordan won five straight OAC hurdle Championships starting with the 2012 outdoor title and sweeping the indoor and outdoor titles in 2013 and 2014.

Lopez-Jordan qualified for the 60-meter hurdles at the NCAA Indoor Championships in 2013 and 2014. He finished fourth in 2013 and was third in 2014 earning All-American honors both times. Lopez-Jordan holds the Marietta College record in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 7.49 seconds and the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.02 seconds.

A three-time qualifier for the NCAA Outdoor Track Championships, Lopez-Jordan earned All-American honors in the 110-meter hurdles in each of those championship appearances. He finished as the national runner-up in 2013 and 2014 and finished seventh in 2012. Lopez-Jordan held the Marietta College record in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.13 seconds when he graduated. The record has since been lowered to 14.11 seconds by Alex Dimon in 2021.

Lopez-Jordan graduated from Marietta College in 2014 with a degree in Information Systems. He is currently self-employed and resides in Jacksonville, North Carolina with his spouse, Ernest.
