Kristen Quintana earned four varsity letters in softball playing for current Marietta head coach Jeanne Arbuckle. The 2007 Cleland-Lazorik Award winner, she helped lead the Pioneers to a program-record 34 wins and a NCAA Regional appearance her senior season.
One of the most decorated players in program history, Quintana was first team All-Region and the John Wells Ohio Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year in 2006 and 2007. She earned All-OAC first team honors in 2006 and 2007 and was a second team selection in 2005.
Quintana holds virtually every pitching record at Marietta College. She holds the program’s unquestioned strikeout queen with records for single game (16), single season (271) and career (663). Quintana also owns the single season records for wins (23), innings pitched (211.0), shutouts (11), no hitters (4) and complete games (76). For her career, she is the all-time leader in wins (62), innings pitched (634.3), shutouts (25), no hitters (4) and complete games (76).
Quintana earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and International Business Management in 2007. She completed master’s degrees in Project Management and Organizational Leadership at Regis University in 2011. Quintana is an Enterprise PMO Director with McGraw Hill in Denver, Colorado
