Junior running back Tim Conner (Euclid/Glenville) was responsible for both of Marietta’s touchdowns against No. 1 ranked Mount Union. Conner scored the Pioneers’ first touchdown when he dove in from a yard out on the first drive of the game. The Pioneers’ second score of the game was a 13-yard pass from Tom Fulton to Conner early in the fourth quarter. In addition to the two touchdowns, Conner also completed a pass to Josh Llaneza for 26 yards on the opening drive of the game. For the season, Conner is averaging 62.3 yards per game rushing.
