Junior forward Corrie Burkhardt (Zanesville, Ohio/Philo) recorded a pair of double-doubles last week as the No. 19 women’s basketball team split a pair of OAC games. Burkhardt had a team-high 13 points and 15 rebounds in MC’s 69-68 overtime loss at Otterbein. In Marietta’s 82-72 win over Baldwin Wallace, she scored 10 points and hauled in a team-best 10 boards. For the week, Burkhardt averaged 11.5 points and 12.5 rebounds per game. On the season, she currently ranks second in the OAC in field goal percentage (55.7%) and steals (46) and is third in rebounding (8.5 rpg).
