Men’s soccer freshman forward Zach Johnson (Beckley, W.Va./Woodrow Wilson) led the Pioneers to their first win of the season, a 5-1 victory over Franciscan. He scored a natural hat trick netting Marietta’s first three goals of the match. Johnson found the back of the net in the 19th, 22nd and 27th minutes as the Pioneers built a 5-0 lead. Johnson leads the team in goals and points this season.
