Men’s Rowing senior Jack Gleim (West Windsor, N.J./West Windsor-Plainsboro South) helped the Pioneers reclaim the Marietta/Purdue Challenge Cup. The Pioneers and Boilermakers squared off in the 61st running of the Cup and Marietta snapped a string of five straight Purdue victories by crossing the finish line five seconds ahead of their rival. From his position in the stroke seat, Gleim powered the Pioneers through the 2,000-meter course to victory. Marietta’s complete varsity 8+ lineup included coxswain Chrissy Billingsley, Gleim, Matthew Bush, Sam Johnson, Evan Odom, William Hooper, Bryce Griffin, Ethan Schafhausen and Angelo Leitner-Wise in the bow.
