Volleyball senior outside hitter Erica Denallo (Parma, Ohio/Independence) led the Pioneers to a pair of wins last week. In the process, she recorded her 1,000th career dig in MC’s thrilling five-set win over Defiance. Denallo recorded 12 kills and 20 digs against Defiance and also led Marietta with 13 kills and 4 aces in the win over Mount Aloysius. For the season, Denallo is averaging 2.0 kills and 4.18 digs per set. She leads the Pioneers with 8 service aces.
