Men’s Soccer midfielder Tom Sloan (Stockport, England/Wilmslow) was named the OAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week after leading the Pioneers to a pair of road wins last week. The junior transfer scored a goal in each of Marietta’s matches giving him 4 on the season. Sloan scored MC’s second goal in a 2-0 win at Hiram and then punched in the fourth goal in the OAC opening 5-2 win at Baldwin Wallace. Marietta's final goal against the Yellow Jackets was recorded as an "own" goal after Sloan's cross was knocked in by a BW defender.
