Baseball sophomore third baseman Greg Peffley (Englewood, Ohio/Northmont) hit safely in all six games last week and three multiple-hit games. He went a combined 7-for-9 in the Pioneers’ doubleheader split at John Carroll driving in four runs and scoring three times. He also went 4-for-7 with three RBI and two runs scored in the doubleheader against Oberlin. The Pioneers are currently 19-15 overall and have secured the No. 2 seed in the OAC Tournament with a 12-4 league record.
