Senior Mike Siringer led the Marietta men's cross country team to a third place finish at its season-opening Carl Brougton Invitational on Saturday (Sept. 12) afternoon.

The distance specialist finished sixth as an individual after covering the 8K course in 27:56.09. It was one of the fastest times put forth by a Pioneer male at the Broughton Nature and Wildlife Education Area's course.
