Senior outfielder Trayla Liles (Tollesboro, Ky./Lewis County)was named the OAC Softball Hitter of the Week after going 8-for-13 at the plate last week leading the Pioneers to a 3-1 record. In addition to her .615 batting average, she had six runs scored, four home runs and six runs batted in on the week. In the Pioneers’ 10-7 victory over Heidelberg, Liles set a new school single game record with three home runs. She finished the game a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with four runs scored and four RBI. For the season, Liles is leading Marietta with a .416 batting average. She is also tops on the team in hits (37), home runs (7) and runs batted in (22).
