Marietta College Athletics

Junior forward Wes Riley (Marietta/Marietta) led the Pioneer men’s soccer team to a pair of victories last week. Riley scored two goals and assisted on Marietta’s third in a 3-2 win on the road at Bethany College. He followed that up with two goals, including the game winner, in MC’s 4-1 win at LaRoche College. Riley needed just seven shots to tally the four goals. He has three multiple-goal matches already this season. For the season Riley is leading Marietta in goals (7), assists (3) and points (17).
