Marietta College Athletics

Track and Field senior Addison Painter (Vermillion, Ohio/Vermillion) won the long jump and 55-meter hurdles at the season-opening Marietta First Glimpse Meet. Painter started the afternoon off with a school record leap of 7.24 meters (23'9") in the long jump. He broke his own school record in the event. His previous record was 6.97 meters (22'10.5"). Painter later turned in a winning time of 7.85 seconds in the 55-meter hurdles.
