Senior guard Tori Dixon (Londonderry/Vinton County) made program history in Marietta’s win over Ohio Valley University in the Jim Meagle Turkey Shoot championship game. She hit a three-pointer in the opening minute of the game to become Marietta’s all-time leader in three-point field goals. Dixon enterd the game tied with Amanda Carraher (2005-09) with 162 career three-pointers. She hit three in the game and now stands at 165 with the majority of the season left to play. Connecting on 39.3% of her long-range attempts, Dixon is on pace to set the Marietta career record for three-point shooting percentage as well. The current record is 38.3% and is held by Cathy (Clark) Borich (1986-90).
