Men’s Basketball junior point guard Keith Richardson (Englewood, Ohio / Northmont) averaged 18.5 points and 3.0 rebounds last week and was named the OAC Player of the Week as the Pioneers improved to 5-0 on the season. Richardson came off the bench to score nine points, grab three rebounds and dish out three assists in Marietta’s 99-70 drubbing of No. 7 Wooster. He followed that with a career-high 28 points in the 87-71 win over Bethany. Against the Bison he hit 12-of-19 shots from the floor, including 3-of-5 from three-point range. Richardson currently ranks second on the team averaging 16.0 points per game for the season. He leads Marietta with 11 three-pointers and is second with 16 assists.
