Football senior tight end Tyler Anderson (Huntington, W.Va./Cabell Midland) caught four passes for 97 yards in Marietta’s 29-11 season opening win at Kenyon. Anderson accounted for Marietta’s first eight points of the game catching a 46-yard touchdown pass and then hauling in the two-point conversion catch. The Pioneers trailed Kenyon 11-0 at halftime before erupting for 29 unanswered points in the second half. Marietta amassed over 300 yards of total offense in the second half.
