Men’s Basketball senior post player Garrett Stephenson (West Milton/Milton-Union) was named the OAC Player of the Week after leading the Pioneers to a pair of conference wins last week. The two victories set a new school single season record for consecutive wins with 21 straight. Stephenson notched his third double-double of the season with 20 points and 11 rebounds in Marietta’s 85-73 road win at Capital University. He followed that up with 14 points and four rebounds in the 85-75 win over Wilmington. For the season, Stephenson leads the Pioneers in scoring averaging 13.0 points per game, which ranks sixth in the OAC. He is second on the team and third in the conference with 7.2 rebounds per game.
