Junior designated hitter/catcher Chris Winpigler (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) was named the final OAC Baseball Hitter of the Week after batting .571 in four games last week. Winpigler was 8-for-14 at the plate with a double, two home runs and 10 runs batted in. He had three multiple-hit games last week and went a combined 5-for-7, including a grand slam, in Marietta’s doubleheader sweep of Wilmington. For the season, Winpigler is batting .350 with six doubles and three home runs. He leads the team with 30 RBI.
