GREENWOOD, Indiana – Marietta College had three players named to 2026 Academic All-District Men's At-Large team, as selected by College Sports Communicators. Two senior members of the Men's lacrosse team,
Alan Schwab (Meadville, Pa./Meadville) and
Nathan Hamilton (Grove City, Ohio/Grove City), and junior
Andrew Korner (Mission Viejo, Calif./Capistrano Valley) on the men's golf team were named to the list and honored due to their academic efforts as well as their play on the field.
Schwab finished with a 3.63 cumulative GPA as a marketing major. He started all 15 games for the Pioneers and picked up 15 groundballs, causing four turnovers.
Hamilton, a psychology major, finished the year with a cumulative GPA of 3.81. He appeared in all 15 contests and was fourth on the team with 11 goals scored.
Korner, an economics major, had a cumulative GPA of 3. 96. He golfed 23 rounds for the Pioneers this year and averaged six strokes over par. He finished in the top-10 four times during the season.
To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution. Student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the games.
