GREENWOOD, Indiana – The Marietta College softball team had three players named to the 2025 Academic All-District Team, as selected by the College Sports Communicators. Graduate student Rachel Kazmirski (Colliers, W.Va./Brooke) and sophomores Liz White (North Royalton, Ohio/North Royalton) and Grace Elliot were named and honored due to their academic efforts as well as their play on the field.
 
Kazmirski, a Physician Assistant Studies major, has a cumulative GPA of 3.75. She once again led the Pioneers with a .489 batting average, good for second in the OAC. She also led the team with four home runs, 31 runs batted in, and was third in the conference with a .734 slugging percentage.
 
An Actuarial Science major, White registered a cumulative 3.61 GPA. On the field, she was second in the conference with 15 doubles and fifth with 37 runs scored. White was second on the team with three homers and 24 runs batted in. She was also seventh in the conference with a .429 batting average.
 
Elliot, an Elementary Education major, has a cumulative GPA of 3.88. She was the starting right fielder in all but two games for Marietta, collecting 27 hits and compiling a .310 batting average. She led the team with three triples and drove in seven runs on the season.
 
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First, second, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on June 17.
