WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Marietta College junior goalie Francesca Agliolo (San Gabriel, Calif./Mayfield Senior) was named, for second straight week, as the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week Monday (Oct. 6) afternoon by the league office.
 
In the Pioneers' lone matchup of the week, Agliolo made eight saves in Marietta's 0-0 draw with Ohio Northern. Agliolo extended her shutout streak to 238 minutes and made two incredible stops on point blank shots inside the 6-yard box.
 
For the season, Agliolo is currently tops in the OAC with .848 Goals Against average and a .824 saves percentage.
 
The Pioneers will travel to take on Otterbein University this Wednesday (Oct. 8) evening.  Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
