WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio — The Marietta College men's golf team played in the Ohio Athletic Conference Fall Preview Saturday and Sunday (Oct. 11-12) at River Greens Golf Course. The Pioneers finished sixth, while Marietta's B team finished tenth on the par-72 course.
 
Otterbein took home the team title with a two-day score of 568. Ohio Northern was second with a score of 579, followed by Ohio Northern B (589), Otterbein B (594), Heidelberg (596), Marietta (614), Capital (616), Capital B (633), Muskingum (639), Marietta B (641), and Heidelberg B (655).
 
Ohio Northern's Aashir Patel earned medalist honors with a two-round score of seven-under-par, 137. Andrew Korner (Mission Viejo, Calif./Capistrano Valley) led the Pioneers finishing tied for sixteenth with a score of 150.
 
The rest of Marietta's lineup included Aidan Houghton (Tolland, Conn./Tolland) with a 152, followed by Zach Huscusson (Clinton, Ohio/Northwest) (156), Kelson McCurdy (Beverly, Ohio/Fort Frye) (160), and Hunter Wilson (Coraopolis, Pa./Moon Area) (162).
 
The Pioneer B team included Jeremiah Fizer (Chesapeake, Ohio/Fairland) (153), Carson Moore (Belpre, Ohio/Belpre) (156), Mason Reville (Northfield, Ohio/Nordonia) (164), Mason Jackson (Guysville, Ohio/Federal Hocking) (168), and Brayden West (McArthur, Ohio/Vinton County) (177).
 
Marietta is back in action at the NCAA Region V Fall Showcase Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 20-21) at the Catawba Island Club in Port Clinton, Ohio.
