BEREA, Ohio — The Marietta College track and field team had several athletes compete in the Baldwin Wallace Harrison Dillard Twilight meet Friday (May 12) evening.
Emma Fehrman (Newark, Ohio/Licking Valley) has the Pioneers' best showing with a fourth-place finish in the women's triple jump. Her best leap of the day covered 11.21 meters (36'9.5").
Addison Painter (Vermilion, Ohio/Vermilion) competed in both the triple jump and long jump. He placed fifth in the long jump with a distance of 6.89 meters (22'7.25") and was eighth in the triple jump with a distance of 13.23 meters (43'5").
Jake Priest (Frazeysburg, Ohio/Tri-Valley) turned in an eighth-place performance in the men's hammer throw with a distance of 51.87 meters (170'2").
Emily Thompson (St. Clairsville, Ohio/St. Clairsville) cleared a height of 3.46 meters (11'4.25") to finish ninth in the women's pole vault competition.
The Pioneers have one more chance to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships at the Mount Union Last Chance Meet next Thursday (May 18).
