TIFFIN, Ohio – The Marietta College track and field team rounded out its competition at the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Championship on Friday (May 7) afternoon. The women finished in sixth place with 36.33 points, and the men placed in a tie for seventh with 25 points.
"Today was better than yesterday. Alex winning both hurdle races and Laura winning the high jump was certainly the highlight of the day," said Head Coach
Jason Davis. "I thought we left some points on the table in a couple of events, but all in all I am pretty happy with the weekend."
The men were led by
Alex Dimon (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge). Dimon got his day started with a victory in the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 14.36 seconds. This is the first time Dimon has won an OAC title in his career. Dimon won his second OAC title in the 400-meter hurdles. He won the event in a personal best time of 53.11 seconds.

Evan Kieffer (Cheswick, Pa. /Fox Chapel Area),
Lane Wilson (Wooster, Ohio/Wooster), and Dimon took home a fourth-place finish, as they crossed the finish line in a time of 3:23.22 minutes.
