WINSTON SALEM, N.C. –
Alex Dimon (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) competed in the final day of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday (May 29) afternoon, and earned All-American honors in the 110- meter hurdles.
Head Coach
Jason Davis said, "Alex had a great career as a Pioneer. He bettered a record yesterday by an al-time Marietta College great. It was a great run for Alex, and it took an NCAA Division III record to beat him."
Dimon ran a time of 14.11 seconds in the finals of the 110-meter hurdles. His time earned him a National Runner-up performance, as he crossed the line in second place.
With his second-place finish in the 110-hurdles Dimon has become the 18th All-American in Marietta College men's track and field program history. This is his second All-American honor of his career.
The hurdler has compiled two All-American honors, is a six-time All-Region honoree. Dimon won his first OAC Championship earlier this season in both the 110-hurdles, and the 400-hurdles.
