WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio – The Marietta College men's golf team finished in fifth place at the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Tournament hosted at River Greens Golf Course on Sunday (May 2) afternoon. The course played par 72 and measured a total of 6,659 yards.

Tom Arison said, "Quality season, with many lessons learned in our shortened spring season. Thrilled for Gage and Carson for their All-OAC accomplishment. It shows their hard work this spring paid off."
The Pioneers finished fifth with a 72-hole team total of 1,241, Otterbein won the event with a team total of 1,207, John Carroll placed second (1,215), Capital finished third (1,227), and Baldwin Wallace placed fourth (1,234).
Gage Herb (Marietta, Ohio/Marietta) and
Carson Fox (Parkersburg, W.Va./Ravenswood) finished their tournament performance with a final 18-hole round of 77. The duo each finished with a 72-hole total of 306. The pair finished in a tie for seventh place, to earn them both All-OAC honors. Herb and Fox finished behind the medalist, Coury Rogers from Otterbein.
Nick Weideling (Los Gatos, Ca./Los Gatos) turned in a round of seven over par, 79 on his final 18 holes of the tournament. Weideling finished with a 72-hole total of 312. Weideling finished in a tie for third in birdies made with 10.
Jeffrey Mitchell (Painesville, Ohio/Lake Catholic) tallied a round of eight over par, 80 for his final 18 holes. Mitchell finished with a 72-hole total of 322.
Dylan Tucker (Strasburg, Ohio/Strasburg) rounded out the performance with a final 18-hole score of 83. Tucker concluded the 72-hole tournament with a total score of 325.
"Congrats to Gage and Jeff on a successful career here at Marietta and we wish them well," concluded Coach Arison. "We look forward to building on all the pieces coming back and improving on our finish from this season."
