ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Marietta College track and field team was in action Wednesday (May 19) when they competed in the Mount Union Last Chance Meet.
"We were trying some new things leading into nationals, and seeing if they would work," said Head Coach
Jason Davis.
Kaitlin Kobusewski notched an event win the women's javelin. Kobuszewski won with a throw of 32.30 meters (106').
Alex Dimon (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) added a win to the Pioneer performance in the men's 400-meter hurdles when he crossed the line in a time of 53.97 seconds.
Laura Pullins (Long Bottom, Ohio/Reedsville Eastern) took home second-place honors in the women's high jump, as she cleared a height of 1.64 meters (5'4.5").
Allison Loase (Bethesda, Ohio/Union Local) tallied a fourth-place finish in the women's pole vault. Loase earned her finish with a vault of 3.28 meters (10'9").
Brooke Huffman (Wooster, Ohio/Wooster) rounded out the Marietta performance with a sixth-place finish in the discus, with a throw of 33.06 meters (108'5").
