BEREA, Ohio – The Marietta College track and field team competed in the Ohio Athletic Conference Tune-Up Meet hosted by Baldwin Wallace University Friday (April 30) afternoon.

Head Coach Jason Davis said, "Another good day for the limited number of people we brought.  Two event wins, and a personal record.  We are looking good heading into the conference meet."

The Pioneers were led by Allison Loase (Bethesda, Ohio/Union Local).  Loase won the women's pole vault when she cleared a height of 3.33 meters (10'11").

Kaitlin Kobuszewski (Chardon, Ohio/Chardon) notched the second win of the day in the women's javelin.  She won the event with a throw of 32.08 meters (105'3").  Kobuszewski added an eighth-place finish in the women's long jump, when she cleared a distance of 4.76 meters (15'7").

Kenneth Amos (Akron, Ohio/Buchtel) rounded out the performance in the men's javelin.  Amos threw a personal best distance of 31.47 meters (103'3").
