BETHANY, W.Va. — Playing shorthanded and spotting the opposition two points, the Marietta College men's tennis team lost 5-4 at Bethany College Monday (March 16) afternoon. The Pioneers drop to 2-6 on the season, while the Bison are 1-0 overall.
With only five players in the lineup, Marietta defaulted at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles giving Bethany a 2-0 before the first ball was put in play. The Pioneers won four of the seven matches played, but unfortunately, that wasn't enough for the team victory.
