GREENWOOD, Indiana – The Marietta College men's tennis team had three players named to 2023 Academic All-District Team, as selected by College Sports Communicators. Senior
Spencer Hall (Louisville, Ohio/Louisville) and sophomores
George Fazah (Beirut, Lebanon/Adma International School) and
Elivh Perez (Mexico City, Mexico/Preparatoria Abierta) were named and honored due to their academic efforts as well as their play on the court.
Hall, a strategic communications major, earned a cumulative 3.651 GPA. He had a solid season for the Pioneers, putting together a singles record of 7-7 in 2023. He also had a 4-10 record in doubles competition with Perez as his partner.
A sports medicine major, Perez finished with a cumulative GPA of 3.931. Along with his 4-10 doubles record with Hall, he finished with a singles record of 2-12.
Fazah, a petroleum engineering major, earned a cumulative 3.751 GPA. He had a singles record of 1-13 and a double record of 1-10 in 2023.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First, second, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on June 6.
