WESTLAKE, Ohio — Marietta College had its women's tennis season come to an end following a 5-0 loss to host John Carroll University in an Ohio Athletic Conference Quarterfinal match Wednesday (May 4) afternoon. [Box Score]

The sixth-seeded Pioneers finished the year 6-10, while the third-seeded Blue Streaks improved to 9-10 and advanced to the OAC Semifinal Friday in Mason, Ohio.

John Carroll took a commanding lead by sweep all three doubles points 8-0. The Blue Streaks kept their unblemished scorecard with 6-0, 6-0 wins at both fifth and sixth singles to secure the win.
