The Pioneer men accumulated 203 points and women totaled 180 points to distance themselves from the five competing schools at Marietta's lone home outdoor meet of the season. Head Coach Derek Stanley's student-athletes won 16 of the 36 events and produced two school records.

Near the end of the meet, Marietta's ten seniors were honored for their dedication to the track and field program for the last four years.

McCulloch, Williams, Householder and Adedapo combined to win the 4x100m relay with a school record time of 41.83 seconds. It is the third NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship event that the Pioneers have provisionally qualified for thus far in 2011. Junior Ashley Bault (Atwater/Waterloo) has qualified in the heptathlon and senior Nikki Stone (Madison/Madison) has qualified in the javelin throw.

Householder nearly provisionally qualified for the national meet in the 100m dash where he took first place with a personal record time of 10.84. Williams also ran a personal best 22.22 seconds in the 200m dash to place runner-up.
