ALLIANCE, Ohio — Marietta College men's tennis suffered a 7-2 Ohio Athletic Conference road loss to the University of Mount Union Monday (April 18) afternoon. [Box Score]

The Pioneers (3-9, 1-5 OAC) trailed 2-1 after doubles action when Ryan Wong (Granville/Granville) and Taimur Ahmed (Islamabad, Pakistan/Froebels International) worked overtime for the 9-7 win at third doubles.

The Purple Raiders (7-8, 4-2 OAC) then took five of six singles points. Ahmed accounted for Marietta's final point with a 6-3, 6-1 win at fifth singles.

The Pioneers are back in action at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday (April 19) when they play host to Muskingum University.
