DELAWARE, Ohio — Sophomore
Caleb Muller (Columbus/Bexley) broke the school record in the 10,000m run, and nine of Marietta College teammates joined him in earning accolades at the 2011 All-Ohio Outdoor Track and Field Championship Saturday (April 16) on the campus of Ohio Wesleyan University. [

The Pioneer women posted a third straight top-five finish at the annual event. They placed fifth with 72 points after finishing runner-up the previous two seasons. Marietta's men moved up four spots from a year ago to finish sixth with 52.50 points.
Muller, who this past fall became the first Marietta runner in three decades to compete at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championship, added the 10,000m school record to his athletic resume after posting a winning time of 31:30.66. Muller's surpassed the performance of Brad Fawley, who held the record since 1976 with a time of 32:30.7.
Senior
Stephanie Hammond (Toledo/Central Catholic) and junior
Ashley Bault (Atwater/Waterloo) also won individual events Saturday. Hammond took first place in the hammer throw with a personal record mark of 46.25m (151-09). Bault leaped to a victory in the triple jump with a season's best mark of 10.89m (35-08.75). She also earned All-Ohio honors in the long jump after finishing runner-up with a mark of 5.23m (17-02.00).
Junior Kristeva Rowe also earned All-Ohio honors in the triple jump, finishing just behind Bault. She took second with a season's best performance of 10.73m (35-02.50).

Corryn Muench (Cold Spring, Ky./Newport Central Catholic), who placed second in the 400m hurdles with a personal record time of 1:05.33, and senior
Nikki Stone (Madison/Madison), who captured third place in javelin throw with a toss of 34.10m (111-10).

Ryan Householder (Frazeysburg/Tri-Valley) gave the Marietta men their second All-Ohio honoree after he placed third in the 400m dash with a personal record time of 49.35.
