LEXINGTON, Ohio — Marietta College men's tennis suffered a 6-3 Ohio Athletic Conference road loss to Heidelberg University Saturday (April 16) afternoon. [Box Score]

Mike Carpenter (Parkersburg, W.Va./Parkersburg) and Dave Koscielny (Belleville, Mich./Plymouth Christian) earned the first point for the Pioneers (2-8, 1-3 OAC) with an 8-5 win at second doubles.

Carpenter also won his fourth singles match 6-3, 6-3 and Teddy Daub (Parkersburg, W.Va./Parkersburg) battled for the 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-5) win at first singles, but the Student Princes (8-7, 3-2 OAC) captured the other six points to pick up the victory.
