COLUMBUS, Ohio — Marietta College junior Ashley Bault (Atwater/Waterloo) placed ninth in the high jump Saturday (March 12) morning at the 2011 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championship. The 2011 Great Lakes Regional Field Athlete of the Year ended her three-event weekend as a two-time All-American.

Bault was one of 15 student athletes to successfully clear 1.61m (5-03.25). Eight of those moved forward in the competition by then clearing 1.66m (5-05.25), but Bault's day came to an end after she just missed her three attempts.

On Friday, Bault earned All-America status in two events. She placed seventh in the long jump with a mark of 5.45m and eighth in the pentathlon with 3,257 points.
