The featured event of Friday's meet was the men's 400m Dash. Prior to the race it was named in honor of
Tom Moss '87, a member of the 28th Marietta Athletics Hall of Fame class. Moss, a four-time national qualifying and eight-time All-Conference sprinter, earned All-America honors after taking fifth in the 400m Dash at the 1987 NCAA Outdoor Championship and still holds the school record in both the indoor and outdoor 400m Dash. He will be formally inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame Saturday (Feb. 5) evening inside the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center.
In a fitting tribute to Moss, junior
Ryan Householder (Frazeysburg/Tri-Valley) and senior
