MARIETTA, Ohio — The Marietta College women's tennis team learned Sunday (May 2) that it will open the 2010 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Tournament at host Baldwin-Wallace College. 

The Pioneers (3-9, 2-7 OAC) have the tough task of taking on the top-seeded Yellow Jackets (15-7, 9-0 OAC) on Tuesday (May 4) at 3:30 p.m. in Berea. Baldwin-Wallace defeated Marietta 9-0 during the regular season on March 20.

The other first round matches up pit seventh-seeded Heidelberg at second-seeded Otterbein, sixth-seeded Wilmington at third-seeded Mount Union  and fifth-seeded Ohio Northern at fourth-seeded John Carroll. All of the matches will be played on the campus of the higher seeds on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. The semifinals and final will take place May 7-8 at the Lindner Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio.
