MARIETTA, Ohio — The Marietta College men's tennis suffered a 9-0 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) loss to visiting Capital University Tuesday (April 13) afternoon at the Beren Tennis Center. [Box Score]

The Crusaders improved their record to 3-6 overall and 2-2 in the OAC. The Pioneers fell to 4-3, 1-3 in league play.

Capital captured all three points in singles play, winning 8-1, 8-6 and 8-2 in first through third doubles, respectively. The Crusaders then won the remaining six points in singles action to complete the sweep.

Marietta is back in action Thursday (April 15) afternoon when Bethany (W.Va.) College visits for a non-conference match. The Pioneers defeated the Bison 5-4 earlier this season.
