ADA, Ohio — Marietta College dropped its Ohio Athletic Conference men's tennis match Saturday (April 10) afternoon as it fell 9-0 to host Ohio Northern University. The Polar Bears moved to 7-2 overall and 2-0 in league play, while the Pioneers fell to 3-2, 1-2 in the OAC. [Box Score]

Ohio Northern took the commanding lead with three points in doubles play, winning by a combined scored of 24-2. Junior Mike Carpenter (Parkersburg, W.Va., Parkersburg) had the closest singles match. He fell 6-3, 6-4 at fourth singles.

Marietta is back in action Tuesday (April 13) afternoon when it plays host to Capital University at 3:30 p.m.
