MARIETTA, Ohio —  The first scheduled baseball game of the season between Mideast Regional rivals #10 Marietta College and #3 College of Wooster was postponed Tuesday (March 23) because of rain.

The Pioneers (10-3) and the Fighting Scots (11-2) have rescheduled the match-up for Thursday (March 25) in Wooster at 3:30 p.m. The teams are slated to meet again April 8 at Don Schaly Stadium.

Marietta is back in action on Wednesday (March 24) evening when the Etta Express plays host to University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg (Pa.). First pitch of the varsity game will take place at 5 p.m. A junior varsity game is scheduled for 2 p.m.

WMOA-AM 1490 and WMRT-FM 88.3 will both carry the game locally.
