Women’s Rowing junior Marissa Jeswald (North Tonawanda, N.Y./Park School of Buffalo) led the Pioneer varsity 4+ shell to victory at the Head of the Occoquan Regatta. With Jeswald in the stroke seat, Marietta won the 5,000-meter race with a time of 20:19.45, well ahead of second place Duquesne. MC’s lineup included coxswain Stephanie Monroe, Jeswald, Katie Williams, Eileen Walsh and Helen Moore in the bow.
