Sophomore Heather Booth (Newport/Frontier) helped the women’s basketball team get off to a 2-0 start with a pair of wins at the Mount St. Joseph Tip-Off Classic last week. Booth scored a team-high 11 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the Pioneers’ 59-44 win over Mount St. Joseph. She chipped in with six points and seven boards in the season-opening 53-47 win over Albion. Booth was named to the all-tournament team for he performance.
