GREENWOOD, Indiana – The Marietta College women's rowing team had a total of three players named to 2025 Academic All-District Team, as selected by College Sports Communicators. Seniors
Kaitlyn Knowles (Lorton, Va./South County) and
Katie Lively (New Matamoras, Ohio/River) and junior
Phoebe Smith (Knoxville, Tenn./L & N STEM Academy) were honored.
Knowles, a special education and elementary education dual degree major, has a cumulative GPA of 3.86.
A history major, Lively registered a cumulative 3.94 GPA. Lively was part of the varsity 4+ team that captured the Devils Lake Invitational back in April. She also obtained Academic All-MARC honors at the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference Championships back in May
Smith, a graphic design major, has a cumulative GPA of 3.85. She was the coxswain on the varsity 4+ team that went on the capture the gold medal at the MARC Championships back in May. She also obtained Academic All-MARC honors that weekend.
