GREENWOOD, Indiana – Two Marietta College men's golfers were named College Sports Communicators At-Large Academic All-District team, as announced by the organization. Sophomores
Andrew Korner (Mission Viejo, Calif./Capistrano Valley) and
Hunter Wilson (Coraopolis, Pa./Moon Area) were recognized for the 2024-25 season.
Korner, an economics major, had a cumulative GPA of 3.99. He averaged a score of 76 in 24 total rounds with his best performance resulting in a first-place finish at the OAC Spring Preview.
Wilson holds a 3.80 cumulative GPA as a finance major. He average a score of 78 in 22 total rounds played. His best finish was sixth place at the Otterbein Easter Leftovers Tournament. He also has three other seventh place finishes on the season.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District® consideration, a student must be at least a sophomore with a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average and must have competed in 90% of the team's total matches played.
