WOOSTER, Ohio — The Marietta College men's golf team finished third at the Nye Intercollegiate hosted by the College of Wooster Monday (April 14). The two-day tournament was played on the par-72 Wooster Country Club Course.

Otterbein won the team title with a two-day score of 611. Wooster's B team was second with a score of 621, followed by Marietta (623), Wooster (626), Mount Aloysius (630), Saint Vincent (638), John Carroll B (639), Ohio Wesleyan (640), Ohio Northern (644), Albion (645), Mount St. Joseph (653), Muskingum (656), Heidelberg (662), and Hiram (665).

Josh Nicholl from Mount Aloysius claimed the medalist honors with a two-round score of 3-over-par, 147. Wooster's Nunth Khamkhokgruad was one stroke back in the second place with a score of 148. Andrew Korner (Mission Viejo, Calif./Capistrano Valley) was Marietta's top finisher carding a 152 to place eighth.

Zach Huscusson (Clinton, Ohio/Northwest) tied for 13th with a score of 157. Hunter Wilson (Coraopolis, Pa./Moon Area) shot a 158 to finish tied for 18th place. Jaekob Conard (Mansfield, Ohio/Madison Comprehensive) tied for 30th with a score of 161, while Kelson McCurdy (Beverly, Ohio/Fort Frye) shot a 166 to finish tied for 55th place.

Mason Reville (Northfield, Ohio/Nordonia) played as an individual and tied for 34th place with a score of 162.

Marietta is back in action at the Otterbein Cardinal Classic on Monday (April 21) at NorthStar Golf Club.
